Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn (Ph.D. Arizona State University) is an assistant professor of human communication studies at California State University, Fullerton. She teaches courses in: quantitative research methods, advanced research methods, public speaking, introduction to human communication, interpersonal communication, intercultural communication, relational communication and business communication. Her expertise revolves around the intersection of intercultural communication and interpersonal interactions, as well as new/social media studies, and social support. Her recent work is titled, "Conceptualizing and Operationalizing Empathetic Expressions: Scale Development, Validation, and Message Evaluation."
