Biography:

Mortaza (Mori) Jamshidian is a professor of Statistics at California State University, Fullerton and is the graduate advisor for the Master of Science in Statistics at CSUF. His past positions include Associate Professor of Statistics at the University of Central Florida and Senior Statistician at BMDP Statistical Software. His area of research is broadly in computational statistics and he has interest in statistics education. He is currently an Associate Editor for the Journal of Computational and Graphical Statistics, and in the past has served as Associate Editor for The American Statistician, Journal of Statistical Software, and Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation. He is current passion is to development statistics software for teaching statistics.
