Biography:
Erica Bowers is professor of education and director of the Faculty Development Center, where she leads the university’s efforts to recruit, support, and retain faculty. Prior to this role, she was chair of the Department of Literacy and Reading Education (2013-2017), and director of the Hazel Miller Croy (HMC) Reading Center (2010-2018). She joined the CSUF faculty in 2006 after completing her Ed.D. in literacy and language at the University of Southern California.
