Biography:

Darcy Anderson is an academic, lecturer, assistant director, writer, performer, and TEDx speaker. She combines her own educational experiences as a low-income, first-generation, adult re-entry transfer student, along with her academic research to build connections and communities both inside and outside of higher education. Darcy holds both a B.A. and an M.A. in American Studies from Cal State Fullerton and her research areas include race and ethnicity, gender and sexuality, ideals and institutions, death, dying, and grief in American culture, and the paranormal.
