Biography:
Anthony Fellow, former chair of the CSUF Department of Communications and the Department of Cinema and Television Arts, is director of The Florence Programs, one of the university’s study abroad programs. He also has taught in CSUF’s Division of Politics, Administration and Justice and at USC. He has presented research internationally on media and politics, Civil War journalism and health communications. Fellow is the co-author of the 2017 “Tweeting to Freedom: An Encyclopedia of Citizen Protests and Uprisings Around the World.” Published by ABC-CLIO Publishing, the book offers an analysis of how freedom-loving people in 34 countries around the world are harnessing the power of the Internet to push for greater liberties and promote their causes.
