Biography:

Puente specializes in the following areas: media diversity issues, film/media stereotyping, U.S. Latino films, Latino marketing. Currently, he studies various 10-year periods of U.S. Latino film production, marketing and distribution. A graduate of Cal State Fullerton, Puente went on to earn an M.A. at USC and a Ph.D. the University of Texas at Austin.
