Biography:
Dr. Linda Orozco is Professor of Educational Leadership at California State University, Fullerton. She teaches courses in educational leadership and administration with an emphasis on leadership preparation, diversity, collaboration and portfolio assessment. During her career, she has published on areas of instructional technology, collaboration, interagency partnerships and educating diverse populations. Recent research includes mentoring, portfolio assessment of leadership effectiveness and education of indigenous populations. She served for an unprecedented two-year term (2000-2002) as President of the California Association of Professors of Educational Administration (CAPEA). She also served on the California State Task Force on educational leadership preparation and certification. She has more than 20 years of experience in educational administration, including K-12 schools, most recently as Dean at Coastline Community College. She serves on several editorial review boards.
