- health promotion among cultural diverse population (particularly in Asian and Latino ethnic groups), including school- and community-based health promotion programs.
- Using the Behavioral Decision-Making model as the theoretical framework to examine lifestyle choices in various health domains (such as smoking, alcohol and other drug use, physical activity, eating behavior).
- psychosocial and environmental factors on health behaviors and risk perceptions, and motivation in health behavior change and maintenance using the “real-time” data collection technology, or the Ecological Momentary Assessment methods
