Biography:

Irena Praitis earned degrees from Carleton College, Washington University (St. Louis), and Arizona State University. She teaches creative writing, including poetry seminars and cross-genre introductory and intermediate courses, contemporary poetry, contemporary literature, modern poetry and modern literature, among other areas. She has published three books of poetry, one book of poetry translations (Lithuanian) and a biography.
