Biography:
Chiranjeev S. Kohli holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from Indiana University. His dissertation received honorable mention in the International Doctoral Dissertation Competition. He is a professor of marketing at California State University, Fullerton, and works in the areas of branding and pricing.
He was honored as Best Professor by the University’s Associated Students Inc. in 2003. In 1999, Dr. Kohli was honored by the Young Presidents Organization of Southern California for excellence in academia, and also recognized as Business School’s Best Professor; and again in 2010 as Outstanding Faculty Fellow.
His research has been reported in leading academic journals and media outlets. National Public Radio has also done a segment on his work. He has consulted for such companies as Autodesk, Bionutrics, Canon USA, Hylands, Spherion, Taco Bell and Verizon, and has offered seminars in several countries.
A comedian by avocation, he has opened for Dennis Miller of "Saturday Night Live!"
