Biography:

Frank Russell has been an editor and writer for online and print news media. He has worked for newspapers including the San Jose Mercury News, Seattle Times and Los Angeles Daily News. He was the Knight visiting editor and assistant professor at the University of Missouri School of Journalism. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism and mass communication from San José State University and a Ph.D. in journalism and Center for the Digital Globe graduate certificate from the University of Missouri.
