Biography:

Brad Biggs' goal is to draw on his 17 years of high school teaching, his doctoral work and research, and collaboration with colleagues to improve the instruction of reading comprehension and critical thinking. He does so by investigating cognitive psychology and critical/digital multiliteracies, and by implementing findings from his research in his courses. He hopes these efforts will help teacher candidates empower their students to comprehend, communicate and critique, advocating for themselves and contributing to their communities.
