Biography:
Michelle Martin has worked in the social work field for more than three decades in a range of practice settings. In addition to a Ph.D. in peace studies, she holds a master of social sciences in policy studies and a master of social work (MSW). Dr. Martin teaches social welfare policy courses in the Department of Social Work. She is the author of three books and other publications in the field of social work and social welfare policy. Her specific area of research focus on women, aging and wellbeing.
