Biography:
Mandie Claussen is a dedicated Research Compliance Specialist in the Office of Research Compliance (ORC) at the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). With a robust background in research compliance, Mandie plays a pivotal role in ensuring that compliance with federal regulations is adhered to at all levels.
Mandie serendipitously stumbled into research compliance in 2019 at her alma mater, CSU Long Beach. In 2024, she joined CSUF, where she continues to support research compliance efforts. She is also focused on broadening educational and outreach programs to improve the university community's understanding of research compliance, presenting training seminars and workshops, and undertaking additional activities as needed.
Mandie Claussen is recognized for her expertise in optimizing systems and creating formula-based spreadsheets to track compliance requirements and metrics. Her data-driven approach consistently strengthens compliance efforts, ensuring the integrity and success of the research community at CSUF.
