Biography:
HyeKyeung Seung, professor and chair of Communication Sciences and Disorders,joined CSUF in 2006 and received a Fulbright Senior Research Award in 2012. Her teaching and research interests are in autism. She has published her research in the Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research, the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders, and other highly regarded journals. She has served as the founding chair of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders since the fall of 2017. She has hosted a monthly parent support group with Korean-American parents who have children with autism since 2007. She also serves as an advisory board member for the Korean American Special Education Center (KASEC) in Anaheim, California.
