Biography:
Anne James is an associate orofessor of theatre and dance with specializations in: comedy, period styles, character transformation, physical theatre and ensemble.She is a certified Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voice Work and certified Yoga instructor (200 hours).
She teaches on both the graduate and undergraduate level. She founded and heads the New Works Physical Theatre Initiative, which generates interdisciplinary collaborations throughout the College of the Arts. She serves as the International Exchange Coordinator for CSUF's successful partnership with the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. She also serves as a Student Mental Health Faculty Liaison.
James received her M.F.A. in drama from UC Irvine and a B.A. in theatre arts from California State University, Fullerton. She works as a professional actor, writer and voiceover performer, as well as serving as a consultant to Disney Worldwide Entertainment since 2008.
