Biography:
Dr Chethan D Srikant is an assistant professor in the Management Dept.of College of Business & Economics at California State University, Fullerton. He currently teaches strategic management capstone courses. He received his Ph.D. in general management from Ivey Business School in Canada, MBA from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, and Bachelor’s of English from Bangalore University. His decade-long corporate career spanned three different continents and was closely involved in the strategic management processes of two different technology firms that were trying to establish a foothold in the Canadian market.
Teaching Interests: strategic management, business and society, sustainable business practices and social issues in management.
Research Interests: Corporate responses to community opposition; regulations, institutions and non-market strategies; energy sector; corporate social responsibility and sustainability; and the interaction between business and society and how that dialectic tension impacts a firm’s strategy.
