Biography:

Adelina Gnanlet is an associate professor of management at College of Business and Economics at California State University, Fullerton. She earned her Ph.D. in operations management at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned an MBA in operations and systems from IIT Chennai, India, and holds a BE in industrial engineering from Guindy Engineering College, Anna University, India. She teaches operations management for undergraduate and MBA students, and management of service organizations for undergraduates. Her research has been published in Decision Sciences, European Journal of Operational Research, Management Decision, Service Business, Service Science, Journal of Management Education, and she has presented at several conferences. Her research interests include health care operations, staffing flexibility, knowledge transfer and productivity, national culture in service quality, and incompetence traps in management education.
