Matheus, Trevis J.
Assistant Professor of Geography and the Environment
Geography & Environment
Biography:
Trevis Matheus is largely interested in paleoclimatology. He uses tree rings to examine past droughts and snowpack more than 500 to 1,000 years in the past. "This helps give a better idea of what our normal hydroclimate is and helps inform policies involving water management,” he noted. æThis also helps put climate change into context, as it is hard to know where you are going if you do not know where you've been."
